    Send a few favorite photographs and tell us who you’d like painted. We’ll help you choose the best starting point.

  2. Approve the composition.

    We help you choose the pose, background, style and size. You review the proposal and approve the composition before painting begins.

  3. Review your portrait.

    Review photographs of your finished portrait, discuss any refinements and give your final approval before delivery.

The art of portraiture

Your portrait is painted by hand in oils on canvas. Expression, light and color take shape through our painter’s brush, giving the finished work its own texture and character.

The atelier works with you on the composition and artistic direction, and guides you through the final review. Professional stretching is included, with optional framing discussed in your proposal.

Includes composition guidance, an original oil portrait, professional stretching and a final review. Custom sizes and unusual compositions receive an individual quote.

30% deposit after proposal approval. The balance is due after you approve the finished painting.

Proposed pricing in USD; this prototype takes no payment. Shipping, applicable taxes and optional framing are confirmed in your proposal.

What photographs should I send?

Choose a clear photograph that shows the face and an expression you like, ideally in natural light. You can share several photographs, or send them later. We’ll review them with you before work begins.

Do I need to choose a style or size now?

No. You can share a preference later in the request or leave it to the atelier to recommend. We confirm the details together before work begins.

When will my portrait be ready?

We confirm the expected schedule before work begins. If you have an occasion or preferred date in mind, include it in your request.
